Mission Statement

To make accessible the benefits of yoga and mindfulness to all individuals by using adaptations and variations to accommodate individual needs and differences.


As physical therapy students we embrace the vision statement of the APTA, “Transforming society by optimizing movement to improve the human experience.”  Our vision for adaPTed Yoga is to combine our academic knowledge and clinical experience, with our belief in the benefits of yoga and mindfulness, to provide classes, resources and strategies to support complete physical, mental and social well-being.
